We are only days away from Super Bowl LIII (58) between the Patriots and Rams on Sunday, February 3rd. But what do we do before the game on Friday and Saturday? There are plenty of places to head in South Georgia to make for a solid weekend. Here are some suggestions that are a short drive away from everywhere in South Georgia for a great Super Bowl Weekend.
Head to Thomasville and step into Farmer’s Daughter Vineyard on Broad Street.
Farmer’s Daughter is a gorgeous wine tasting room located on Broad Street in Thomasville, GA. Paired with cheese plates from local SweetGrass Dairy and Georgia mad Chocolatasm, Farmer’s Daughter wines are a perfect way to enjoy your night. Have the kids with you? No problem. There’s a Kidzone with TV, Chalk wall, coloring books, and games. There will be a local artist playing with no cover charges. EVER!
Lee County Palladium Players and the Lee County Chamber of Commerce present Murder on “Denial”. Murder on “Denial” is a murder mystery dinner that takes place at Oakland Library in Lee County. Doors open at 6:30 and tickets are available at the Lee County Chamber (229.759.2422) or Lee County High School (229.903.2297). If you haven’t been to a murder mystery dinner, you need to experience it!
Finally, Super Bowl Sunday!
But where to view the game?! Watching at home is always good for a regular game but the Super Bowl demands more. Make your way to Locos Grill and Pub.
Locos Grill and Pub is a family-friendly bar/restaurant with plenty of room for everyone. With over 20 TV’s, the game is able to be seen from anywhere whether in the bar, restaurant, or on the heated/cooled patio. Wings and beer are staples of a Super Bowl Party and they will have specials on both. Giveaways could be happening as well! Don’t have time to stay? Pull through the drive-thru or call in a to-go order and take it home for the family. Give them a call at 229.888.5055
