Quick recipe of the week: Salmon with ginger lime sauce

Salmon with ginger lime sauce transforms a basic piece of Salmon into a delicious dinner.

Salmon is a quick and easy meal to prepare for anyone.  Just because it is easy doesn’t mean you have to eat it plain.  Chef Lara Lyn has come up with a delicious sauce to top that salmon with to give it a kick.  You don’t have to stop there with this sauce.  Serve it on veggies, chicken or as a salad dressing to give everything a unique healthy twist.

Ginger Lime Sauce

1/2 cup Olive Oil Mayonnaise                            1 Clove of garlic, minced

1/4 cup of Honey                                                   1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger

1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice                   1/2 teaspoon of salt


2 pounds fresh salmon filet, skin removed

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper

Preheat oven to 425.  Place salmon on baking sheet with foil. Drizzle the olive oil over the salmon and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Bake in the oven for 20-25 mins.

Serve the salmon with the ginger lime sauce drizzled on top.
