Tifton is a small town with a big appetite.

Check out these four Downtown Tifton restaurants that have the city abuzz.

The Local Kitchen and Bar

Hours: Wed-Fri: 11 AM- 2 PM, 6-10 PM

“The local represents what we’re trying to go for as far as local ingredients,” said owner and chef David Scarbrough. “Whether it’s a cheese that’s made in Norman Park or the peas on a salad that come from Ty Ty, they should taster better. We’re doing the best we can to try to support those folk and in return we get their support as well.”

41 & Main

343 Main St S, Tifton, GA 31794

Hours: Sun-Wed: 11 AM- 9 PM

Thurs-Sat: 11 AM – 11 PM

“Our focus is wood fired whether it be the slow smoked barbeque or our Neapolitan-style high temp wood fire pizza, the options are there. We use fresh never frozen meats,” said owner Tobie Passmore. “We’re a full-service restaurant. We’ve got 6, 50-inch TVs on the bar-side down below with a full bar.”

“Upstairs we’ve got a couple different spaces. So if you’ve got an event whether it be a rehearsal dinner, or a wedding party or just a business lunch you’ve got the space available to come in and be able to enjoy a good meal and have that private setting.”

Mi-Lady Bakery

275 Brumby Way, Tifton, GA 31794

“We’ve been here since 1959. I’m third generation in. My grandfather started it. My dad is still active as well as my sister,” said co-owner We’re most known for our donuts, scratch-made donuts. We’ve been doing them since day one. All of the formulas we used were developed by my grandad. We make a fresh product.

K&K Custom Creations

201 N Central Ave, Suite J, Tifton, Georgia

Hours: Tues- Fri 10 AM- 6 PM

“K&K Custom Creations was a home-based operation. The all-time favorite is the red velvet and the key lime. That’s a southern favorite, and they love the pecan cupcake. It’s very good. That’s one of our number one choices here.”
