Alright everyone, listen up. This is going to be important for some (or most) of you.

The Albany Square double drive-thru Chick-fil-A had its last day of operations on Saturday, November 3.

The new full-service Chick-fil-A location won’t be open on Monday, but we are told they will announce the official opening date that day.

Unofficially, I’m being told it’s Thursday. But whatever the day is, there will be some waiting or alternative plans needed if you want Chick-fil-A in the meantime.

If it turns out to be Thursday, you will either need to go inside the Albany Mall or into Lee County to get your Chick-fil-A fix.

We wrote this ahead of time, so don’t say we didn’t warn you.

We usually write to make your weekends better, but these circumstances call for action.

What I’m saying (and what Chick-fil-A is saying) is if you visit the double drive-thru Chick-fil-A on Monday, they will NOT be open.

We, along with many of you, are anxiously waiting to learn when the opening date will be.

Are you ready for this Chick-fil-A change in Albany?
